Supporting A Serial Sexual Predator For president, Like A Good Conservative Christian

I WOULD NEVER accuse anyone of being a serial sexual predator, unless I repeatedly witnessed someone while in the act, engaged in the act myself, got wind of someone convicted of the crime in court, or heard someone confess to being one. Recently, I heard someone not only confessing to being a serial sexual predator, but actually bragging about it, clearly demonstrating low moral character and criminality. That someone is, of course, president elect Donald J. Trump. His words, not mine. Millions of people have heard and seen the boastful confession, so really, there is no point in anyone, including Trump's supporters, putting up any argument, or denying the fact of his criminal behavior. The video is admissible in a court of law, and Mr. trump accepted responsibility for it, so, what possible argument could there conceivably be in his defense? When confronted with the proof, Mr. Trump's first response was "I promise to become a better man". Obviously, he knew he had done something wrong. There is no need for anyone to become a better man for, say, engaging in meaningless locker room talk. Later, of course, after thinking about it a bit, Trump the self proclaimed criminal backtracked, and decided that he had merely engaged in "locker room talk". His supporters accepted this absurd explanation without question or a whimper of protest. People don't talk like that in lockers rooms, because people in locker rooms are usually not morally depraved enough to believe that being famous makes it permissible to sexually molest women. People in locker rooms usually have more immediate concerns, like how to play better defense, or how to score more points and win the game. It is noteworthy that much of the Christian community supported him throughout the campaign, and voted for him. This could be seen as appropriate, since the Bible repeatedly condones the rape of women, the subjugation of women, and the killing of children (Mathew chapter 15 verse 4). In America, Christians tend to be conservative politically, which means they oppose all attempts to render unto Caesar, to give unto the poor, and they promote the brandishing of weapons in the name of the prince of peace. And now, we learn that conservative Christians are perfectly willing to support a self proclaimed serial sexual predator for election to the highest office in the land. Really, there is no reason to be surprised.
