Paying Ransom, But Not paying It, Obama Style

PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA, as you know, recently hooped in an uber self driving cab, grabbed several suitcases full of twenties, and made for Iran, four hundred million bucks in hand. The U.S. actually owed the money, an old debt stemming from an old weapons deal back in 1979 which was never completed on account of the sudden coming to power in Iran of a certain insistent cleric. But we were not obligated to make good, thirty seven years down the road, because old debts, like loans to one's kids, just sort of seem to gradually fade away in the fullness of time. Iran changed governments, and more relevantly, the United States of America never made a deal upon which it couldn't reneg. The belated funds transfer just happened to coincide with the release of some Americans held hostage in Iran, purely coincidental, sayeth Obama the rapidly graying Magnificent. America does not negotiate with terrorists, does not pay ransom. Only, it dies, or certainly seems to .Its all so stereotypical, so predictable. We have a nation which hates America, seizing upon opportunity, taking hostages for ransom. We have smug Americans going where they ought not, behaving badly, getting caught, and phoning home. And we have the American state department, saying one thing, and doing another. So obviously, ransom was paid, as it happened to coincide neatly with a debt owed. Finally, after much beating about the bush, Obama admits it, coming clean at last. The funny part is the howls of righteous indignation from the conservative sector, calling for congressional hearings, impeachment, presidential indictment, execution at by firing squad. Whatever it takes to get that pro Islamic bastard, once and for all, before he leaves office! It reminds one of the saga of Hillary's emails. The vultures will look at every single one of the several hundred thousand extant, seeking anything incriminating, whether it be a misplaced paperclip, a speck of dust on a smart phone screen, or an inappropriate reference to one of Bill's indiscretions, absolving him on the grounds that "I never gave a rat's behind about sex anyway, so he's free to philander." We'll keep hearing about Hillary's server, throughout all eight years of her presidency, and beyond, until she, ahem, "lies" in peaceful repose, and the conservative cows come home.........SPREAD THE WORD!
