Choosing Between the Lesser of Two Evils:Our Poor, Unfortunate Choices

BY NOW, if you've a brain, you've figured out that Donald Trump is somewhat of, an, um, idiot. Amazing, some of the people who succeed in business. Makes you wonder why they bother with business colleges. Bankruptcy law can work wonders, for the feeble minded wealthy. I like Trump, which only demonstrates that I, alas, am a fool. But the new is starting to wear off. The seemingly refreshingly honest and spontaneous unfiltered personality begins to wear out its welcome; lack of articulate expression is not the same thing as unfiltered thought; and besides, mental filters are good things; without mine, I'd be dead by now, which I may soon be anyway. In the great race to the top of the mountain of lies, Donald Trump makes Hillary Clinton look like a girl scout, slowly trudging up, from well below. The democrats must be tearing their hair out at the thought that if they only had a reasonably unhated candidate, Trump would by now be toast. Imagine, if you can, Hillary Clinton trash talking N.A.T.O., cozying up to Putin, and wanting to keep people with the wrong religiosity out of the country. Or imagine her claiming that on the day the World Trade Center fell, she saw thousands of Muslims partying in joyful bliss all across the jersey shore! You think for a moment our conservative brethren and sistern would give her a pass, turn the other cheek? If Hillary had trash talked that poor Islamic-American man who gave his son in combat for his country, what would the Rebublicans be saying about it. would they overlook it? Hardly. the people voting for Trump are only trying to keep Hillary out of the White House, and those voting for Hillary have only one goal; keep the Donald out of the white House. Hillary's dishonesty can be explained, as all our dishonesty can be. If she would only stand up and directly confront it, explain her greed and lies in human terms, maybe shed a few tears, she'd be in like flint. but don't hold your breath. Folks like that don't do things like that.
