Working Together

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY to call for socialized spaying and neutering in america, for cats, not for dogs. Like the pythons and wild hogs, stray cats are proliferating in the land of liberty, and we need to do something about it.

spaying and neutering for pythons and wild hogs might be attached to the bill as an ear marked "hitch your car to the locomotive" add on. the cute female currently hovering on my front porch, and yelling at me for love and a family home could become my third, and i hope final adoptive kitten; but i sure do wish the county would pay for her spaying; i footed the bill for the other two.

we can hardly expect the good citizens of america all across this great country to be individually responsible for dealing with all stray pythons and wild boar hogs which drift onto and off of their privately owned land.

And drift on and off they do. Just ask the good folks of suburban miami, florida, or the farmers all across the southeast; these wild animal population explosions must be dealt with by all of us, acting together. Like wise, the stray cat problem. Nothing a little county sponsored spaying and neutering wouldn't accomplish.

The sad truth is that there are just some things we all must work together to achieve, like roads, highways, and sewers. It'll take all of our future prosperity to do that, let along pay for a military able to defend an empire.

And that doesn't even count the expense of dealing with snakes, hogs, and cats.
