Bad Marketing?

Here, we don't claim to have absolute answers. we just ask questions, and, upon occasion, make suggestions. diverse points of view, expressed without acrimony, are welcome.

THE TRUTHLESS RECONCILER is grateful to all the good people who place ads here, including, interestingly enough, chic fil e corporation, those purveryors of delicious sandwiches who don't want gay people getting married.

and evidently, it (they) don't want anyone else to want gay marriage, because the ad here was nothing other  a plea for support. evidently chick has decided to take the heat head on, stand behind its controversial stand, and ask others to join the cause.

you kinda have to admire them for that.

exactly what is their cause. how do they feel about gay people overall? are single gay people welcome to be customers? or is it just gay people who are married?

say a car pulls through the drive thru, and all the occupants are the same gender. will they be required to demonstrate heterosexuality before placing order?

it may be that the decision makers over at chickie have nothing against anyone, other than gay people who are married. however, it seems reasonable to think that chickie aint too happy about homosexuality in genaral, right?

isn't chic fil e even now planning to promote traditional family values by having something like "traditional heterosexual family" night?   a special on eggs, maybe?

in a culture in which ever fewer people are forming traditional heterosexual families, this might not be the most brilliant marketing strategy. in a culture in which conservative christian heterosexual families are dwindling in number, it might be best to simply try to appeal to everyone.

how long before chic fil e is is serving and employing only  conservative christian heterosexuals?

kentucky fried chicken must be licking its lips about now...
