Doubling Down On Crazy

THERE IS EVIDENTLY a minority but growing and emerging consensus within the Christian flock of sheep that the sycophants are generally isufficiently devout and insufficiently conservative, politically. As if the evangelical wing of the faith were not already over the hills and far away over the top in both departments. As if evangelical conservative Christianity were anything other than the diametric opposite of the actual message of Jesus Christ. Heaven forbid that any of the sheep should be so far astray as to fail to advocate for the establishment of the one true religion as the official religion of these United States of America, the land of separation of church and state, land of freedom of and freedom from religion. Shocking to even consider, perish the thought, that any among the saved should consider tolertaing the LGBTQ community, of accepting them as fully human equals deserving equal treatment, fine just as they are, without the dire necessity of conversion brainwashing torture therapy. The more conservative the votary's religiosity, the more conservative politically, economically, and socially. The more fascist. Almost as if by default, without thought. The actual Jesus Christ, in the all too seldom thoroughly read Christian Bible, with regard to redistribution of wealth by any means necesary, was hard core. And he told people to pay taxes. Render unto Casear, give unto the poor, enter into the kingdom of heaven having left material wealth behind, in the hands of the previously poor, for those who can benefit from it to simply survive. Behold our modern American far right wing capitalistic, you're on your own, wealth is a reward from Almighty God for one's devotion to Christ, Republican Trump-loving MAGA patriot. Trump, dozens of criminal idictments and thousands of lies in hand, becomes the representative of Christ on Earth. Socialism, the economic system in which people work cooperatively to produce and share wealth fairly,the system clearly espoused by the actual Joshua ben Joseph aka Jesus Crist, becomes taboo. Capitalism, the exploitation of labor for profit, the system which concentrates wealth among the very few, becomes God's economics. There's a special place for the sick, twisted fascists who proudly proclaim their allegience to this evil insanity, and it sure as hell aint heaven.
