According to Rush, or, According to the Polls
RUSH LIMBAUGH, the famous American radio entertainer who seems to falsely fancy himself something much more than that, claims that Boehner's band of tea party republicans is winning the battle against Obamacare, and should continue to apply pressure, should keep sending one bill after another to the rest of congress which includes raising the debt limit, funding the government, and defunding Obamacare, as a package. It is quite unclear, other than wishful thinking, how Limbaugh arrives at this conclusion. Certainly not by paying attention to public opinion. Does anyone really think this will help Boehner and the ultra conservative Ted Cruz-type Obama haters prevail, will help them succeed i defunding Oamacare, by using blackmail? Meanwhile, each day American public opinion despises the actions of the obamacare defunders ever more, the polls indicate. The republicans are heading toward a political cliff. Boehner claims that there are not enough votes in the House of Representatives to defeat the obamacare killers, and Obama, adroitly, says "prove it". So, Boehner will now to prove it, or explain why he won't. Rush Limbaugh once claimed that the Magna Charta was signed in the fifteenth century (1215), and once used the non word "incalcitrant" when he meant to say "recalcitrant", to call someone stubborn, but really should have said "intransigent", but didn't seem to know the difference. But what do you expect, from someone who went to college for two semesters, and flunked everything? If he wanted to, Rush Limbaugh could be educated, he certainly can afford it. But he refuses, thinking that he already knows everything. He recently called himself a genius, which is laughable. And the more Rush Limbaugh hangs in there with the tea pary congresspeople, backed into a corner like a pack of rabid rats, the more he, like the rest of the rats, will live to regret doing so. And why does it matter at all what radio entertainer Rush Limbaugh says? Because, inexplicably, a few million Americans listen to intently to what he says, and even more inexplicably agree with it. But overall, the American people have just about had enough of the nonsense, according to the polls.
