Insinuation, Obama's Unfounded (I.O.U.)

Several years ago mitt romney said that it wasn't worthwhile to move heaven and earth just to capture or kill one person, no matter who that person is, even if its bin laden. i never heard him say it, but it makes perfect sense to me now, and would have then.

capturing or killing bin laden (preferrably capturing) was indeed a great idea and a worthy goal - but not at the cost of moving heaven and earth. we've bigger fish to fry, like global terrorism and improving relationships and perceptions of america abroad.

..so the first anniversary of bin laden's unfortunate (he should have been caputred, and could have been) demise rolls around, obama is bragging about it, subtley, and indirectly implies that mitt would not have gone after osama,  saying something like "I'm glad we achieved it, but you wonder if certain other people would have done it, considering remarks made in the past".

so the president accuses the mittster of being a coward, without even having the decency or courage to say it directly, straight up, using mitt's name. (ya gotta admit, its a cool name, "mitt")

in the first place, we all kinow that romney would indeed have gotten bin laden, you would have, i would have, anybody would have, everybody would have, merely by having somebody around the oval office call, text, or tweet the navy seals, and waiting ten years.

secondly, its a moot point; nobody knows the absolute answer to any "what if" question ever asked.

..attacking your political opponent aint always the best thing to do; it can make you look petty and  lacking in integrity..
