A Few Questions

THE WORLD is in an economic mess, don't we agreee? starvation and disease, collapsing currencies, ecosystem progressively sickening, war.... you know the drill. hell, even in america one in eight people has trouble getting enough to eat, and the ratio is one in six among children. in america, we don't seem to put children first.

the greater the population, the greater the need for economic growth, to keep up. so yes, we must have economic growth, of which we currently have too little, but we perhaps should also ask ourselves: what is the limit to human polulation on this same size always planet, and what is the limit to per capita standard of living?

do we want 1 billion humans, each with a 5000 square foot mansion and two corvettes, or do we want 15 billion people, each with the same great wealth, or should we all have less wealth? or should we just not worry about it, let the wealth go where it may, and the human population do likewise? to plan, or not to plan...

if the population is too great, and the number of poor too great, and the number of wealthy too few,
many among the too numerous poor might take a notion to gang up on the few wealthy, and despoil them. can you see humans doing things like that?

shouldn't there be clothing manufacture in every country in the world? is there any in america?

maybe we need more capitalism, and more socialism.
