Investing Smartly, Liberally

WE NEED TO PLANT A TRILLION TREES, but try telling American conservatives. They'll tell you there's no use or need for government planning to plant trees, it will get done if and when it needs to, naturally, according to the free market, which never fails, and never needs regulating by government. You might ask them which they would prefer, a trillion trees or parking lots, saving the planet or or building millions more parking lots for short term profit, and they'd say that it will all work out naturally, in its own way, through the magic of free market economics, which I frankly find hard to believe. Like all systems, free market economics has its place, and its limitations. Even Adam Smith, its inventor, understood that. Don't we need any planning at all? Don't we need communication and expression of ideas among the billions of people in the world, among the masses, for the benefit of all? I vote for the trillion trees, human population reduction, efficient housing, an increase in habitat for all forms of life non human. Why do conservative, capitalistic Americans ignore the enormous profit to be made in future sustainable energy, specifically wind and solar, in favor of continuing fossil fuel based economy? Are they so heavily invested in fossil fuels, and the society of the past, that they refuse to see the future, even though by doing so they could profit enormously ? Are conservatives really that stupid, or is it conservatism itself that is stupid, leading otherwise smart people astray? It is utterly incomprehensible, considering that Richard Branson, Slim Pickens, Warren Buffet, and Bill Gates are all investing heavily in future sustainable energy sources, along with many other millionaires, people who are wealthy because the make good investments. Wind and solar energy, by the way, contrary to what you may have heard via America's great right wing media propaganda machine, are doing extremely well. both wind energy and solar energy are expanding across the world every day, with more construction, infrastructure, investment, output, and customers. The way it looks now, future energy sources are going to be owned and controlled by a bunch of bleeding heart liberals, which might be an unexpected benefit from the refusal of conservatives to get on aboard with the future.............PLEASE SHARE THIS PUBLICATION WITH OTHERS. WE SEEK DIVERSE, ORIGINAL, CREATIVE WRITING. THANKS!
