Protecting Children, Turning Us All Into Criminals

CHILD ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS, organizations dedicated to ending the abuse and exploitation of children, are serving the noblest of all possible causes, and may the dear lord bless and keep them. But, what, precisely, can they really do, or accomplish? Throughout the world most cultures proclaim the primary juridisdiction of nuclear families, especially parents, in raising and caring for children. Government involvement is limited, because it is so universally mistrusted, not without a certain degree of justification. Private organizations can lobby for legislation, raise, money and awareness, but how much direct, tangible good can they do? Well, they are absolutely determined to do something. The latest trend seems to be enticing and entrapping potential child molestor-predators. Rig up a website with the image of an underage girl who seems cute, "nice", and "friendly", and just snag the perverts as they log on and come strolling in. Then, bring in law enforcement. And, in what should come as a surprise to nobody, this deceitful method works like a charm. They come by the hundreds, by the thousands! All manner of pervert, all ages and genders (mostly male), people of often high educational, income levels and social status, looking for taboo sexual gratification. With enough of these entrapment websites set up by well meaning groups and law enforcement agencies, you never know how many perps will be snagged. Why, we may come to find out that half the population of the human race are child molesting perverts, or "potential" child molesting perverts. It remains unclear exactly what percentage of people who say nasty things to presumed children online would actually act out their apparent pedophilia in the "real" world. (the "real" world as distinguised from the "cyber space online" world. there Is a differenece, remember). Never discount the pleasures of vicarious sex. Perhaps the best way to catch criminals is to lure them all out into the open. But how many of us, exactly, are "potentially" criminals. Put a stack of money on a table in a corner of the bank, just around the corner, and let's find out. Put a big platter of food on a table near the exit, and find out. Security cameras must be well placed, but that's never a problem anymore. And remember; the computer generated little girl must be very cute, friendly, and flirtatious, the pile of money should be fives, tens, and twenties, and the food on the table in the corner fresh, with an irrestistable aroma. Even criminals have standards. Lead us not into temptation - unless we are potential criminals, then lead away! If we can simply turn all of us into criminals, we can end crime once and for all. Here's looking forward to seeing everyone in prison. I call dibs on the bottom bunk, and I know how to manage a cell block softball team, I did it in third grade.
