Going After Biden

THE REPUBLICAN REPROBATES can contain themselves no longer. The evil which lurks within them, their desperate, urgent need to seek revenge, has finally metastasized beyond their ability to control their worst impulses, their only impulses. All their hatred, their anger, their unrelenting quest for revenge to avenge the imagined wrongs visited upon their cult hero and messiah Donald J. Trump have finally bubbled over and burst forth into the visible world, as all poison must inevitably do. The bare Republican majority will proceed with an impeachment inquiry against President Biden, despite the complete lack of any supporting evidence that such an action is warranted. The pursuit of equal justice under law has nothing to do with this dark, reprehensible course of action, which has been much contemplatd and discussed among the far right wing for many months. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy maintains his lofty position of status only by the thinnest of margins. He can be removed from his position of power merely at the whim of even a single member of his own party. The card has been played, the threat has been made,and the speaker, predictably, has caved,even though he knows full well that this has nothing to do with justice, and that there is not the slightest trace of justification for this heinous, deplorable course of action. The speaker predictably, has decided to put his personal political fortune above moral principle. What current Republican does not make the same choice? The party of treason nad insurrection has nothing to offer other than perfidious criminal conspiracy, and this is yet another example. Donald Trump has spent his entire life heavily involved in unethical, immoral, criminal activity,activity which grew and intensifed by the day during his presidency, and has ballooned exponenttially since his defeat for reelection. Twice impeached for demonstrably, glaringly obvious, valid reasons, twice he should have been removed from office and relegated to the most igmominious chapters in the history of nefarious presidential infamy, but wasn't, only beause his Republican sycophants stood firm in defense of his blatant criminality. Indicted four times and formally accused of no fewer than ninety one felonies, in any system in which justice plays even a small role, Trump should eventually be convicted and sent to prison, and everyone knows it. Ane yet,the very same Republicans who now are conducting a true witch hunt against an honorable man with not a blemish on his long record of public service, utter not a whimper of protest or complaint about Trump, instead choosing to defend his criminal behavior and dishonestly describe the pursuit of justice relative to Trump as a "witch hunt",and a "politically motivated conspiracy". The reason why there exists not a trace of evidence that President Biden has used his political power and influence to advance his son's career and fortune is simple: Joe Biden has pursued a political career as Senator, Vice President, and President for more than fifty years, without so much as a blemish against his name. The evidence does not exist because Joe Biden is an honorable, honest man of integrity,a faithful public servant of the sort entirely lacking in the republican party. Biden is also well aware of the danger os becoming involved in his son's professional life, and has carefully avoided even the appearance of impropriety. Tellingly, ironically,almost humorously,many of Biden's accusors are themselves under scrutiny for activities related to Donald Trump's attempt to steal the presidency from Biden, and his attempt to overthrow the American government to illegally remain in power. They are in fact guilty of supporting and engaging in a conspiracy with Trump for that purpsoe, and in fact are seeking pardons, which they hope to obtain in the unthinkable event that Trump is reelected in 2024. Only guilty people seek pardons. There is evidently no end to the nefarious perfidy and criminality of the members of Congress who still support Trump, to Trump's cult followers and members,and, of course, to Trump himself, the instigator and driver of this entire most sordid saga in American society and history.
