Endurance and Advancement

Jim Abbot ws born without a right hand. Fortunately, he pitched left handed. Very effectively, in fact, over a ten year major league career. When throwing the baseball, Abbot hung his glove on the end of his right arm. Immediately after releasing the ball, he inserted his left hand into the glove, ready to catch the ball. It was really quite impressive.

Then there's the surfer girl in Hawaii whose arm was bitten off by a shark, and who soon thereafter was back on her surf board, in the water, with a smile on her heroic face.

Not to mention the guys who come home from war with no legs, then end up winning marathons on artificial ones.

I once had a job in a high school pushing a kid in a wheelchair, as a special ed assistant. He wouldn't push his own chair, though he was perfectly capable of it. I reminded him that the winner of the Boston marathon every year is somebody in a wheelchair, a separate category, because a wheelchair is a great advantage, speed wise. The kid started pushing his own chair.

These people are heros, no doubt. Not that they would want anyobody to call them that. Heros rarely want to be called "heros". That's their nature. They just do it, and don't really care about receiving praise for it. And the list is long. The list of people who have overcome extremely bad fortune to achieve great feats.

The most admirable characteristic of humans is resiliency, the ability to survive and flourish under extremely unfavorable conditions. It is the reason why humans exist, and, if they continue to exist, resiliency will be the reason why.

Human beings violently destroy each other with astonishing, horrifying effectiveness. Their greed does damage to their physical environment, and to their metaphysical souls. But they have emerged on this planet after a long struggle and upward climb from bestiality to sophisticated enlightened being, and the process of advancement continues every day, for all of us, for humanity.

There will come a time when our descendants will regard us as savages, because they will be so very far advanced beyond us. And this is a good thing. It is something to hope for, a reason to endure, ourselves, as we are, for now.

Laughter - Stooges Style

This is atypical of this blog but I’m going to start with a movie review.  I haven’t been to a movie theater for several years.  I’m usually disappointed that the best scenes were in the trailer, plus it kills me to pay $10 for popcorn and a Coke.  Today, with good reason, I broke my streak of avoiding movie theaters to see the new Three Stooges movie, on opening day, no less.  It was hilarious.
They successfully retained an element of the stupid, physical comedy and sound effects of the original Three Stooges, yet they made it current with a few Hollywood A-list actors like Jane Lynch, Larry David, Jennifer Hudson, Sofia Vergara, Sean Hayes, Isaiah Mustafa, Stephen Collins, Brian Doyle-Murray, and the cast of Jersey Shore.  My favorite line was when the entire cast was at a party and the Three Stooges arrived; one of the party guests mentioned the “three morons”, and the response was “The Kardashian sisters are here?”
Here’s the sad thing.  There was only one other person in the theater, and he left before the outtakes and song and dance after the credits.  Why on earth would people rather see Hunger Games or Titanic (again)?  The younger demographic seems to have a hunger for violence and dark themes.
Movies and television have a powerful influence on the mind, especially at a young age. I find myself shaking my head at the quality and content of not only the movies and TV programs but also the ads.  So much sex and violence and celebrity worship.  Realizing now how much Captain Kangaroo and Andy Griffith influenced my youth, I can’t help but worry about the future of kids who are being influenced by what they see on TV and movies today. I can’t even recall the most serious or violent movie I saw as a kid or teen.
My critics and commenters may be quick to point out that the Three Stooges were quite violent – all that eye-poking and slapping.  It’s apples and oranges, not the same thing.  And at the end of the movie, the Farrelly Brothers (directors) actually show the rubber props used to boink the stooges in the head, and they make a statement that this should not be done at home with real objects.
In an article in care2.com, Melissa Breyer lists the long term health benefits of laughter.
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Increase vascular blood flow and oxygenation of the blood
  • Give a workout to the diaphragm and abdominal, respiratory, facial, leg, and back muscles
  • Reduce certain stress hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline
  • Increase the response of tumor- and disease-killing cells such as Gamma-interferon and T-cells
  • Defend against respiratory infections–even reducing the frequency of colds–by immunoglobulon in saliva.
  • Increase memory and learning; in a study at Johns Hopkins University Medical School, humor during instruction led to increased test scores
  • Improve alertness, creativity, and memory
Do yourself a favor and go see the Three Stooges this weekend, or any laugh-out-loud comedy.  You won’t even complain about the cost of the ticket or the popcorn and coke.

Life is too short to be so serious.

Alternatives and Answers

If you happen to be, say, a fifty seven year old american man who has never been married, and if you, um, love girls, chances are that over the years you have known a fair number of girls, onna counta the time span, and behavioral predisposition. And even if girls tend to frighten you, chances are, you've managed to communicate with a fair number of them.

So you end up advancing into old age with a lotta memories. And that's fine. No complaints. "All comes out even when the day is done, and more even still when all the days are done." quoth Francois Marie Arouet, who called himself "Voltaire". At the end we have only our experiences. Better make 'em good.

Unavoidably you think back on all the girls, from grade school through late middle age.Girls, girls, girls.  Then the idea of alternative lifetimes comes to mind. You know, what if I had married her, or her? Unanswerable, but fun to contemplate. The most natural thing in the world is to imagine that you could've married any of the bunch, and had a happy life. And maybe that is so. But, on further thought, it seems doubtful.

Truth is, my honest conclusion is that no matter who I married, any of the girls I have known,a divorce would have eventuated. But who knows? Sometimes you wish you could find out, could live multiple parallel lives actualizing, experiencing all your many possible, potential lives. And who knows, maybe that's what we are doing, even now, in "parallel universes".

December 21, 2012 rapidly approaches, so we may not have much time.Wouldn't it be nice, if sometime between now and then we living in this reality obtained at long last the answers to all the nagging questions which have plagued us for centuries? Reincarnation? Parallel lives? Ghosts? Time travel? Extraterrestrials?

Just knowing that answers to all these questions  exist makes our continued ignorance frustrating. Either in another lifetime, on another planet, or maybe among our descendants, the answers are known. My intuition tells me that knowing the answers to these questions would be far simpler than knowing which girl I should have married.

Progress

People make mistakes. Human being don't always get it right, often, in fact, they get it wrong.  They try to figure out what's going on around them, and they often get it wrong. And thus, misconceptions are born, and nurtured, and propagated...

...so that eventually everyone on earth has the wrong idea, the misconception, which is also the best, and only explanation widely accepted. But, the flat earth and the nature gods and spirits and magic eventurally, slowly were replaced by better explanations, based more on observable fact.

And the process continues to this day, and doubtless far beyond this day; the process of discovery by which humans, over time, get closer to the truth, or think they do. The struggle continues, to understand ourselves, to understand life, to understand the world, the universe, and god.

And, like every civilization before us, we tend to think we're pretty close to the truth, or at least, on the right track. And, like every civilization before us, we will be proven wrong. We're nowhere close to the truth, in any field of inquiry or knowledge, and our descendants will laugh that we ever thought we were.

Einstein said "we don't know one millionth of one per cent of anything." He was right, of course, then and now. we still don't know much, because there is so much to know.

Every religion, every belief that ever was, has been overthrown and replaced by something new, improved, better. And so it will be with us, though we don't yet know how. Every religion on earth, and there are thousands, will have vanished within a few thousand, if not a few hundred years.

The economic system of the future, whatever it may be, will make ours look primitive.  One might almost envy our descendants, assuming there will be any; for if there are, they might well live in a world much improved from ours. Our job is to see that they get the chance.

The Spread of Life

To an astrophysicist, "everything" is the universe. What could we possibly do to change that "everything"? People like to say that a scientific idea changed the universe when Copernicus suggested that the sun, not earth, is at the center. People regard the invention on the Internet as a development that changed the world. The list is long.

But which "world" did these ideas change? Well, yes they are all about us, home sapiens, a recently evolved branch on the tree of life, with roots in a biochemistry that somehow, four billion years ago, took hold on planet earth. And yes, home sapiens has created amazing things: airplanes, antibiotics, phones, computers, but none of these will change the orbits of the stars.

And so it was, until now. There is a game-changing scientific development that transcends all in human history. It is already underway, and it even has a name: synthetic biology. People take "synthetic biology" to mean different things. Most often, its reduced to synthetic genomes, redesigning the genomes or organisms to make them act in new ways - such as microbes that produce fuel or pharmaceutical products.

I take synthetic biology to mean creating new trees of life, as opposed to engineering new branches to the existing tree. IN my view,  synthetic biology is about engineering an alternative biochemistry, "seeding" an alternative tree that then evolves on its own. In that alternative, the life is as natural as any life we know. I shall let others describe it and explain how they will do it. One thing is sure: biologists will use synthesis the same way chemists do today -- routinely.

But there is more! It is the interplanetary reach of synthetic biology that will make it a new phenomenon in the cosmos we know. Life is a planetary phenomenon  that can transform a planet. The development of synthetic biology appears to be a stage in life's evolution whereby some of its forms can leave the host planet and adopt to other environments, potentially transforming other planets and eventually the galaxy.

THE TRUTHLESS RECONCILER

Adrenalin

American culture is more violent than it used to be, and it used to be violent. The same is true of  american football, america's favorite sport, which of course is part of and reflective of the greater culture.

The word "hit" has made its way into the football lexicon, has come to dominate it. The words "blocking" and "tackling" have been replaced by the word "hit". That's because blocking and tackling have been replaced by hitting.

Blocking and tackling are athletic skills. Hitting is violence. Watch a replay of any football game from the nineteen sixties. The nineteen sixty five champion ship game comes to mind. Green Bay 23, Cleveland 14. I was ten years old, and most unhappy about the outcome.

In 1964 I had watched Jim Brown's Browns defeat the Unitas Colts, 27 - 0, and had become a Brown fan. When Jim retired soon after, I switched over to Gale Sayers and the Bears, where I remained.

At the school where I work the principal is a very nice, highly professional lady who happens to be an avid New Orleans Saints fan. Fearful, but unable to resist, I asked her to comment on the scandal involving pay for injury by Saints players and coaches. Her comment? "Football aint for sissies". I let it go at that, but, I was a bit concerned. Still am. She's mainstream american culture...

It seemed obvious to me a couple of years ago that the New Orleans Saints were trying to injure Brett Favre in the NFC championship game. It now seems obvious that the object in every game, NFL, college, even high school, is to hit as hard as possible.

Its sad. The increased athleticism of today's players would be more utilized with less hitting, and more tackling. Today's players make more violent tackles, but, out of conrtol, they also miss more tackles.

Even with all the violence, partly because of all the violence, football is more popular and exciting than ever. The difference in the style of play is not the increase in size and strength. Its cultural.

America's corporate masters have deliberately and effectively trained the American people; violence is always exciting. Thus trained, we the american people buy whatever our corporate masters choose to sell, accompanied, of course, by adrenalizing violence.

Next football season I might try to tear myself away from live action, and instead watch great games from the remote past on the NFL channel, when football was violent, but less so than now. That is , if I can manage to endure the sudden drop in adrenalin.

A Change In Who We Are

We're in the midst of an ongoing revision of our understanding of what it means to be human. We are struggling to redefine humanity, and its going to radically influence our future.

The redefinition began in the nineteenth century with the work of Charles Darwin, who changed the game by revealing the truth of human history:We are not the progeny of gods, we are the children of worms; not the product of divine planning but of cruel chance and ages of brutal winnowing.

Darwin required a shift in the way we view oursleves -  a shift that is still working its way through the culture; creationism is an instance of the reaction against the dethroning of homo sapiens. Embracing the perspective of evolution, however, allows us to see the value of other species and appreciate our place in the system as a whole; it is a positive advance.

Much of the human race continues to resist embracing the perspective of evolution, and indeed a large industry has developed in religious groups allegedly demonstrating serious flaws in Darwin's work.

Religious groups dig up dinosaur remains with the ieda of proving that the big lizards were on earth less than six thousand years ago, cotemporaneous with humans. Actually, all the serious work done since Darwin supports Darwin and reveals evolution to be a beautifully persuasive explanation of the origin of all life on this planet, including human.

Perhaps we should regard all the cruel chance and winnowing to be itself the work of God, the direct work of God. Perhaps we should shift our concept of how "god" works; away from mud and ribs, and towards fish, lizards, rodents, primates, and humans,  natural selection, and solid, verifiable science.

It might be time to upgrade our concept of God, simply because we now have the opportunity to make said concept more advanced, more accurate, more realistic. There is nothing wrong in amending , correcting, long held beliefs. Doing so shows flexibility, a willingness and desire to grow and to make  progress, by moving beyond the limitations of traditional, inadequate beliefs.

Science will not cease in the displacement of religion with empirical observable reality. There will come a time when science and religion are synonymous, because accepted scientific fact will dispell all current religious beliefs. Perhaps then humanity will universally become pantheists, with Spinoza their patron saint, and the universe itself their church.

Changing our Morals and Values

College football coach achieves great success, wealth, and fame. Suddenly, it is revealed that coach has extra-marital affair with co-worker, tries to cover it up, is revealed, and fired.

True story. True, really, many times over, the story wherein too big for his britches sports figure seeks pleasure, and is willing to break the rules to do it. This is an epidemic in american society; breaking the rules in pleasure seeking.

Several remedies come to mind. Instill a greater respect for society's rules within its citizens. Teach morality in schools, and model good behavior in the entertainment media.

A more radical solution, and far less popular one, but perhaps more effective, would be to change our social morality and rules to more closely reflect current reality in our society, and to allow for greater acceptance of pleasure seeking.

Our judeo-christian heritage teaches us that sex is always a sin, except in matrimony. Maybe we should reconsider this ideal. WE were once extremely intolerant of divorce, now we accept it more readily, and maybe we should accept it more readily still.

Maybe we should consider different concepts of marriage, suah as "open marriages", or multiple person marriages.  MAYBE.

Sometimes individual people need to suffer the negative consequences  of disobeying social morals. Sometimes, social morals need to be changed. Likewise, social values.

Maybe we as a society spend too much time and effort turning people into celebrities. It might be better to bring people down to size by limiting their fame, and limiting their wealth and power.

Maybe we should just ignore celebrities, and think of other ways to improve our modern morality and values, which, if we are humble and not arrogant, we will admit are not perfect.

Far from, in fact. It never hurts to be open minded.

Crystal Ball

Science fiction intrigues us by delving into possible worlds, mostly futuristic. What if the human species could use nanotechnology to reduce the size of the human animal, Gulliver like, in order to conserve resources and permit a greater human popupation?  What if, as in the hollywood blockbuster "Minority Report", we could read people's intentions before they acted and thus prevent violence?

Science fiction often comes true. Jules Verne predicted submarines, H.G. Wells predicted space travel; both writers made their predictions in the late nineteenth century. Science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke essentially invented orbiting satellites in the nineteen forties, merely by imagining them.

Equally interesting are the misses. Most science fiction writers of recent vintage imagine a world filled with space travel, time travel, and robots, but nobody seems to have predicted cell phones or personal computers. In retrospect, it can be seen how much more likely cell phones and PCs always were than time travel or human immortality. Viva hindsight.

We can be sure that all descriptions of extraterrestrial beings thus far presented by science fiction are woefully inaccurate.  The skeletal hig headed alien, the insect - reptillian , and all the others, will quite likely eventually be shown to be way off the mark.

We are endlessly drawn to predicting the future, because we are fascinated by it, perhaps fearful of it. Perhaps it isn't so important that we are accurate with our predictions, as it is that we keep trying.

mitt vs. barrack, rich vs. poor

It is disappointing that rick santorum has dropped out of the republican presidential race. he was fun. Now, with newt and ron simply treading water, with the race over, we'll have to adjust to a new source of entertainment: mitt versus barrack hussein.

barrack hussein'll kick mitt's butt, the way it looks now. just today barrack hussein was speaking loudly about the need to tax millionaires more than poor people, like he often does, and once again, it is obvious that the idea will never pass the conservative corporate owned and controlled united states senate.

the conservative viewpoint seems to be that if you go after the wealthy, you are instigating "class warfare", that lower taxes for everybody is the answer, even with a huge military and huge infrastructure repair needs. if you punish achievement, you discourage it, say the conservatives.  highly dubious others say.

the democrats want to tax the rich, the republicans don't. how surprising. trickle down economics, ronald reagan style. let the wealthy keep their money, and they of their own accord will invest it in ways which benefit the poor much more than the government ever could. yeah, right. haven't we seen through that yet?

yes, we have. obama will totally dominate romney in the economic ideological war soon to come, because the ninety nine per cent, or at least the fifty one per cent, will support the poor over the rich. most of us, after all, are poor.

the economy is improving, after the mess obama inherited from bush. general motors is alive and bin laden is dead, thanks to barrack.  the massive federal debt is not obama's fault, we are all to balme, and we all know that.

mitt must move to the middle to even have a chance to  win, which he won't, and that will force the real right wingers, like gingrich and santorum, to hold their noses and vote for mitt.

mitt must move to the center to win, because america is more a centrist country than a conservative one, and right now, liberal economics is more popular than conservative economics, because most of us think the rich should pay more taxes than the poor.

The Amazing Cell Phone

Its easy to sometimes take for granted the incredible advances in science and technology which have recently, and are now taking place. For example, older people who were long accustomed to bulky, unmovable, unreliable desk telephones now chatter away on cell phones while driving, walking down the street, sitting in the bathtub, as if its the most ordinary thing in the world, which it is fast becoming.

It could be argued that cell phones have already had, and will continue to have more impact on the world than any other scientific technological invention. Within my lifetime I expect almost every adult and child in the world to own one.

Neither the pen, nor the typewriter, nor for that matter the automobile had such widespread use and impact. With  a cell phone, everyone has global connectivity, immense computer power, and instant access to all the knowledge in the world, accumulated over many centuries.

The world has never had any situation remotely close to this before. The cell phone really is changing and will change everything more and more, from the way individuals live their lives, to the way wealth and power are spread across the globe. The cell phone is the ultimate democratizing technology.

When I was a child I was a great fan of Star Trek, (Wm. Shatner version), and I was extemely envious of the ship's crew, beaming down, firing phasers, talking on pocket communicators, and so forth. Evidenly other people felt the same way; the cell phone was invented by a man who got the idea, so he said, from watching "Kirk to Spock" Star Trek.

What other object do you carry around with you all the time and use all the time and take for granted? The fact that we  now take cell phones for granted just shows how incredibly they have changed the world.

Yet, when did  you acquire your first cell phone? If you're an adult, it was probably relatively recently in your life. It seems probable that people all over the world do react, and will continue to react the same way,  quickly incorporating the cell phone into their lives, and soon thereafter taking it for granted.

There will soon be people who obtain a cell phone  ven though they have never had a telephone or computer of any kind, or even access to a library. How will they react? The answer proves how revolutionary cell phones are, and will continue to be.

(hint: hand a cell phone to such a person, and within a week, he or she will have learned enough about how to use it, and will be using it often enough, to feel fairly confident at it, and will expect to keep learning more every day, and will start, soon, taking it all for granted.)

Free Speech and PR

Ozzie Guillen, the manager of the florida marlins baseball team, got in trouble with his employer for praising Fidel Castro. Miami, Florida might be the world's worst place to make such  comments, public relations wise, and in professional baseball, public relations is all important.

Important enough to suffer the consequences of free speech. Oh well, its better that an employer punish free but undesirable speech, rather than the government.

Ozzie Guillen, who is from Venezuela, has also praised socialist venezuelan president hugo chavez, so maybe ozzie is a bit of a socialist himself. His praise of castro was nothing other than appropiate. Guillen simply said that he was much impressed with castro's ability to remain in power for over fifty years.

Shouldnt' we all be impressed with that, however much we might not like castro? Hell, anytime anybody does anything for over fifty years, you gotta be impressed.

Guillen surely realized that southern florida is full of refugee cubans, who sought refuge from castro, and hate him?  He should have made the comment in san francisco.

We prefer democray to dictatorship. However, if there is anything good about castro and chavez, it is that they believe that the janitor, the popcorn vendor, and the beer vendor at the ball park should be a bit more economically equal to the ballplayers themselves.

After all, you can't have a ball game without players, but you also can't have a ball game without beer, pop corn, hot dogs, or frosty malts. Its obviously impossible, because nobody's ever done it.  Workers of the world unite!

Here Comes the Sun

By nearly all expert accounts, the world is either at peak oil production now, or will be sometime within the next five years. Even if we had no concerns about the health of the environment, including climate change, we would need to be looking for and rapidly developing new energy sources to power our civilization.

We should consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have a relatively safe nuclear power plant only ninety three million miles from earth. Equally fortunate we are that according to the laws of nature, when a proton strikes a semiconductor, an electron is released.

Our development of solar energy is still in an infantile state, but the potential, as always, is enormous. New technologies are appearing rapidly, including photovoltaics and artificial photosynthesis, electric mobility, and electricity storage.

WE could fill the desert with beautiful, artfully done arrays of  solar towers, indistinguishable from pure art. Artists and arthitects could take the lead in designing, literally, beautiful, eye pleasing light gathering structures.

There will be a revolution in energy production, of which solar is but one component. Within decades the human race will look back in amazement that there was ever any sort of crisis associated with the availability of safe, clean energy.

People like T. Boone Pickens will be regarded as heros and pioneers in this, deservedly so. A bright new day will dawn, and we will rejoice beneath a clear, bright sun, as we were perhaps intended to do.

Openminded Reconciliation

The purpose of The Truthless Reconciler  is to reflect and reveal the world, as it is now, in the year 2012. The world is diverse, with many nationalities, ethnic groups, religions, events.

Politics, economics, culture in general, particularly american culture, but world culture as well, is the subject of The Truthless Reconciler.

The Truthless Reconciler originates in the United States of America, and is produced by a  motley crew of americans. It must be admitted by all that the  U.S.A. is an important player in today's world.

And yet, it is to be questioned whether the true nature of the U.S.A. is being presented to the world by the mainstream conservative self absorbed hagiographic  american media. Is the mainstream american media telling the world the truth about america? Fair question. Answer? Uncertain.

Well, the Truthless Reconciler intends to tell the world the truth about america, whether or not not anyone else does. That is our purpose, our goal, our promise to our friends around the world. And thank you for your support in this.

The question of life on other planets, the supernatural in general, alternative world views, such topics are of great importance in today's global community; there are thousands of "UFO clubs" in China.

This is a good sign, a sign of interest and inquiry. We humans must always maintain our interest in the world, in our lives, and our spirit of inquiry. The articles in The Truthless Reconciler tend to come fast and furious, because there is much to say, much to read, much to do. Try to hang in there, keep up with us, and participate. Together we can change the world for the better!

Around the world in 2012 we see the spirit of democracy and freedom prevailing, as the masses of "commom people", the unprivileged, assert their right to participate in civilization, to maybe even own and control it.

After all, we are the ninety nine per cent. Long live human equality of condition! God bless America for permitting this website, and all else that she permits, which is considerable. To our friends in Russia, thanks for visiting, we love and admire you, those of us who know and understand you.

The Truthless Reconciler wishes to foster world unity, and peace, through intellectual and ideological reconciliation, that is, the process by which we all become open minded, and accept the universe as a place in which truth is far larger than we.

Please scroll down, and please tell others about The Truthless Reconciler. Thanks!

Something big is about to happen...

Greetings, my friends!   I just thought I'd check in which ya, and provide a tad bit of sobering, yet truly extraordinary and potentially historic, information....  which you may or may not have time to peruse....  but I send it because it is quite engaging and has been receiving a great deal of attention on a growing number of web sites.
I'll start with the most recent development in the string of events....
Rev. Nancy Detweiler is circulating a letter to other ministers, nationwide, asking them to share information with their congregations regarding the currently widely-discussed notion of imminent mass arrests of an untold number of important persons in all walks of life.   The prospect is charming, but may take some getting used to if you haven't been following the story:
The piece contains a link to Ms. Detweiler's recent post entitled, "The Pentagon wants this information to go viral," which summarizes the March 28 interview that David Wilcock conducted with "Drake," which I've listened to, and which sounds very much like one of the landmark interviews of our time.   Is Drake's info accurate, or is it possible the operation he speaks of will be postponed or cancelled?   From the sources I've been following, it looks to me like we're past the point of no return.   Something very big is about to happen.   Drake has a spectacular degree of knowledge and insight, and I certainly do not think he is playing a prank on everyone.   Here is the link to the summary:
http://pathwaytoascension.wordpress.com/2012/03/30/the-pentagon-wants-this-information-to-go-viral/
and you will find within it a link to the audio of the interview.  If you want to read along on the written transcript of the interview while also listening to it, Ms. Detweiler has provided that link, too.
(which is from David Wilcock's web site:  divinecosmos.com  )
Further explanatory article:
...a quote from this article:
"What may seem absolutely impossible and unfathomable one month, will suddenly become highly probable the next month. Therefore, it is vital not to cast doubt or dispersions on any of these seemingly unrealistic scenarios that many are
envisioning for our immediate future. In other words, you may be quite surprised what becomes magically available to you from one day to the next."

David Wilcock has updated his article, adding a lengthy interview with an individual who does
indeed sound like a major insider to me. I have heard the individual on another internet radio
show recently.  The audio links are near the bottom of the article (before the beginning of
the Comments section)

The man he interviews, going by the name "Drake", lives in the West Virginia mountains,
is ex-military, is probably older than us, and has been aware for over 30 years of a high-level
group of military generals (and others) who have recognized the need to reclaim the USA
under Constitutional rule, against the ruling establishment of the high-financial cabal
who have illegally taken control (without the rest of us realizing what's been going on,
since the mainstream media is also under their control).    So, just realize, as you listen
to this man, that despite his quirks of expression, he is VERY very knowledgeable.....
For David Wilcock, a thoroughly brilliant researcher, to WANT to interview this guy "Drake,"
says to me that they're "on the same page" in their awareness and their discoveries.
It's not necessary to me that you agree with either the information of Drake or the comments
of Wilcock....  the importance is really that of simply hearing what they have to say,
in a neutral frame of mind, and at least getting a sense that these guys are totally honest,
sincere, and attempting to perform a public service in preparing the American populace for
a really big social/political/economic event... for which there is no precedent in world history...
