Candidate

If you could disassemble all the republican candidates for president, take the best of each, then put together one candidate out of it all, you might just come up with a pretty good president. But you'd have to be careful. Let's start with Mitt Romney's health care system, and use Ron Paul's foreign policy. Not exactly a regular republican look, so far.

We might want to leave out Romney's tax plan, or Ron Paul's elimination of the federal reserve. A lot of big banks depend on borrowing money from the fed, and like it or not, as go the big banks, so goes the American economy.

Huntsman has the diplomatic skills, and Santorum's social conservatism goes well with a healthy dose of Ron Paul libertarianism, aka tolerance. And for good measure, let's add just a dash of Gingrich intellectualism.

The ironic thing about our composite candidate is that he possesses all the parts that most republicans find most repugnant, all the "deal killers".Every other GOP candidate calls Ron Paul's foreign policy "unthinkable" , "impossible", and so forth.

Ron Paul wants to liquidate the American empire, and stop starting wars, which to our corporate masters and their puppet politicians is indeed "unthinkable". U.S., Inc. Uber alles. Actually, Ron Paul's foreign policy might be the only thing that can save the country.
