Facing
ALTHOUGH I FORMALLY DISAVOW FACEBOOK, in truth I spend more than enough time logged on to it. Using the system of "likes", I have inspired the algorythm to fill my feed with an abundance of beautiful photography, great artwork, nd posts aout my favorite sports teams. Scrolling has become more fun, less contentious less stressful. Although for several years I used Facebook mainly to distribute negative information and opinions about Trump and the Trump movement, there has recently been a sharp decline in my outpit of that nature. It seems as if, after years of venting, years of anger and hatred, I have finally vented it all, have emptied out my vessel of poisonous bile, and am content to focus on beauty. The whole Trump thing, so strongly characterized by the whole election denial phenomenon, is so patently, obviously crazy, that I have become content to merely laugh at it. No need to disparge it; it disparages itself, on its face. Why bother calling Trump an idiot, or a liar, or a narcissist? He tells us all that every day, with his every utterance and appearance Sometimes a particularly wise and incisightful post appears on Facebook. One said: "If money were hoarding banana while monkeys all around him were going hungry, we'd study the monkeys scientifically to ding out what's wtong with them. When humans act like that, we put their picture on the cover of Forbes". Here come the conservative capitalists, who argue that the rich do not prevent the poor from becoming wealthy, nor nything else. The ingorance of fundamental facts represented by this fantasy viewpoint is staggering.
